How to get the right size

With products made from natural fibres, there is inevitably a variation in size between different styles.

The safest way to get the right fit is to measure an existing garment that you own and is the fitting you require:

  • Width: Measure across the chest from underarm seam to underarm seam
  • Height: Measure the back of the item from the bottom of the collar trim (nape of neck) to the bottom of the item
  • Sleeve: Measure from the underarm seam to the end of the cuff

Once you have these three measurements, check the chart below to see which size is closest to your fit. Do remember that knitwear can stretch slightly over the years - so the item you have measured may well have been slightly smaller when new, so please allow for this.

General size guide for standard garments

Our general size guide applies to all products that are 'standard' size. If a product has a non-standard size, it will be shown on the product description.
